Cheryl from Snaps of Ginger is the proud new owner of a Silhouette Cameo, and it sure didn’t take her long to realize what a wonder this machine is! One of her recent projects was creating these beautiful gold-tipped feathers. At first look, you’d never guess they are just plain old paper! With the metallic gold detailing Cheryl added with paint, they look totally glam.

Bliss of Bliss Ranch was inspired by a vintage drug store sign to make a sign with similar styling for her bathroom. Bliss says she “just couldn't advertise ice cream so close to [her]bathroom scale” {giggle}, so she modified the wording a bit. What’s really cool is that Bliss actually owns a vintage building that was formerly Sy’s Barber Shop, which is the name she used for her sign. I always love how DIY allows for such  personalizations!

On Infarrantly Creative I recently shared this heart tree wall art that I created as a baby shower gift for a friend. I love all the bright colors and modern style of this piece and think it will be a great fit for the nursery. I definitely couldn’t have pulled it off without my Silhouette Cameo! Maybe it’s just me, but I think Land of Nod’s Love Tree and my Heart Tree may have been twins separated at birth {wink}.
