Sharon from The Blue Willow House was shopping at an antique mall when she found a wooden paddle board with an array of fruits and veggies painted on it. While she wasn’t a huge fan of the design, Sharon had plans to make it over. Instead of sanding off the whole painting, Sharon simply flipped the board over and sanded the bottom and gave it a light coat of stain. It’s such a simple makeover with so many uses. Sharon says, “It can be used as a serving tray, the base of a centerpiece, or you can hang it on the wall. I love the way it turned out.”
Sharon was inspired by Pottery Barn’s Pizza Cutting Board.
