Blue, beige, green, gray, pink, and yellow can all have a soothing effect.
Bear in mind that bright colors are energizing, which might not be the best mood for your bedroom, but maybe could work well in your kitchen.
3. Keep it comfortably organized
Studies have shown that clutter in a room is anxiety-inducing.
However, how clutter affects different individuals varies, as does the amount of clutter necessary to start bothering you.
If you want to play it safe, you should keep your house free of clutter and keep things organized.
That will create the most calming effect.

4. Create boundaries
Having different spaces dedicated to different tasks creates a more calming atmosphere.
It’s also practical and more aesthetically pleasing.
Of course, not everyone has a dozen rooms.
But maybe you can set aside one corner of your living room to be your exercising area, have a chair that is mostly for reading, and maybe find a desk where you leave all your tech and gadgets, so you can physically step away from them when needed.
