Nikki of Tikkido wanted rustic rope serving trays like some from Pottery Barn for a couple nautical parties this summer. However, she didn’t particularly want to pay the $69 price tag. Each. Instead, Nikki made her own for $2 each using only three materials – foam core, rope, and a hot glue gun. She says, “It only takes a few minutes, less than $2 of material, and looks perfect in a nautical or rustic setting. I’m planning to re-use my rope baskets this Thanksgiving, in fact!”
Nikki was inspired by the Chunky Woven Trays from Pottery Barn.
