These Pottery Barn knock off wood stars rank up there as one of Amanda from A Few Short Cuts’ favorite DIY projects ever! Amanda loved the stars as soon as she saw them on Pottery Barn’s website. You know what she didn’t love… the $129 price tag! A search online turned up detailed woodworking plans from Jamison at Rogue Engineer. Amanda followed his tutorial to build two stars using a 96-cent furring strip from Home Depot. Yep, she built TWO stars for less than a dollar! Here’s from Amanda: “These don’t have to be just for Christmas. You can use them to decorate any room any time of the year! I am so tickled with how they turned out!”
Amanda was inspired by the Milled Log Stars from Pottery Barn.
