Meegan from What Meegan Makes shares the “key’’ to making your own Pottery Barn inspired book page pumpkin on the cheap. For this project, Meegan used a plastic pumpkin and her trusty 1941 dictionary that she purchased for a dollar. She first painted the pumpkin white and then added torn pieces from the dictionary with high gloss decoupage medium. I love the added texture of the twine and moss at the top and totally agree with Meegan that the vintage key is the icing on the cake!
Meegan was inspired by the retired Newsprint Papier Mache Pumpkins from Pottery Barn.
Megan explains exactly how she transformed a plastic pumpkin into a Pottery Barn look-a-like at What Meegan Makes.
