Doreen from Hymns and Verses wanted to create wooden spheres for her son’s upcoming wedding reception that is being held in an old cigar factory. They needed quite a few of the spheres, which would make them very expensive to purchase. Instead, Doreen got creative and had a crafty gathering with the bride and her sisters to make their own spheres with inexpensive wooden embroidery hoops, tacks, hot glue, and stain. Each sphere came in under $5!
Doreen was inspired by the Veneer Spheres that are no longer available at West Elm.
