After getting bunk beds for her boys’ room, Jen from Scissors and Spatulas wanted a wall-hanging book bin like those from Land of Nod for her little guy on the top.
There was no way though she was paying $70 for “a few pieces of wood.”
Jen’s hubby grabbed some scrap wood and trim pieces from the garage and put a book rack together with just a few screws and nails.
Jen painted it blue, and it’s just like the real deal. The only difference… about $65!
Jen was inspired by the Bin There Done That Book Bin from Land of Nod.
Check it out at Scissors and Spatulas.

Well, I sure hope you can finally have one! It looks pretty simple to make, and, if you've got some scrap wood, very inexpensive too. :)

I love this for my grandson so I forwarded it to my husband to make for Christmas this year. Thanks for the idea.
