Vintage Desk to Rolling Bar Cart

DIY rolling bar

Karen at The Salvaged Boutique was inspired by kitchen carts on casters to create one of her own. One of her inspiration came from the one and only Crate & Barrel.

She knew she wanted to use a vintage piece of furniture and snatched up a bargain-priced desk she found at a yard sale.

With the addition of a couple of shelves and hardware and a fresh coat of paint, Karen transformed the desk to a functional and versatile kitchen cart.

It has lots of great uses from a bar cart to a kitchen island to a dining room buffet!

The desk on wheels looks like a desk on wheels! The workmanship is beautiful and I'm sure lots of time went into it. I bet it's pretty heavy to push also...just saying. Ps. I love getting emails and project ideas everyday. Thanks!
