Mark Montano has long been a fan of Andy Warhol’s huge, colorful portraits and decided it would be fun to replicate his well-known pop art. Mark’s technique uses just a few simple materials, including a canvas, paint, and a transparency, yet bears a striking resemblance to Warhol’s work. It would be a blast to make a piece of art for each family member, and I also love how Mark created two pieces of art with the same picture but different colors and details. Too fun!
Mark was inspired by the work of artist Andy Warhol.
