Tame Those Toys with a DIY Storage System

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with your families.

If you’ve got little ones, then you probably feel like you are drowning in toys and are wondering where you will possibly keep them all.

Here’s an amazing toy storage solution for you from the fabulous Whitney of Shanty 2 Chic!

Whitney solved the storage dilemma in her son’s big boy room by building her own storage unit that works with IKEA’s budget-friendly bins and fits her son’s room and storage needs to perfection.

Yes, IKEA is cheap, but when you can get “real wood at half the cost,” how can you say no?

Flat Pack Mates

Tuesday 20th of February 2018

You've done a great job creating this shelf for your kid. However, not all people are equally skilled or have the same tools. Even though this is a simple type of furniture to DIY, other pieces with more details will be harder to do for most people. When that's the case, people can turn to flat packs that are easily assembled and just as sturdier as DIY furniture. Only they don't take as long to assemble.

Plus, nowadays it is super easy to go into any furniture retailer and buy affordable furniture that you can even assemble on your own. So, keep in mind that if DIYing furniture is not your forte, you have an alternative.
