Girls Embroidered Bed Canopy from Curtains

Girls Bed Canopy

Kylie from Stylish Settings started making curtains for her daughter’s bedroom years ago after viewing them in a Pottery Barn Kids catalog. Then the project got put on hold and soon forgotten. After finding the pieces in a box, Kylie got to work embroidering little birdies, flowers, and butterflies and attaching them to white sheer curtains. Instead of using her panels for a window, Kylie formed a canopy around the head of her daughter’s bed using a bed crown. My daughter would absolutely love this!

Roman Shade from Drape

When revamping her laundry room, Debbie from Me and My DIY found a roman shade from Pottery Barn that had all the colors she wanted to incorporate into the space. Unfortunately, Pottery Barn’s prices and sizing did not cooperate with Debbie’s plans. Being the clever gal she is, Debbie instead ordered a drape from Pottery Barn and sewed her own shade for way less cash. She even had enough fabric remaining for a coordinating ironing board cover.
