With Christmas over, I can’t help but have toy storage on the mind! Yesterday I shared a bin organizer inspired by IKEA, and today I’m back with another storage solution for your little ones and all their STUFF. Honestly, these wall bins Jaime from That’s My Letter are so versatile they could easily function in […Read More]

Rescued Medicine Cabinet to Message Center

Five years ago Jamie from anderson + grant rescued a metal cabinet from her grandmother’s garage before it was torn down. The old cabinet had collected quite a bit of dirt and grime over the years, but Jamie saw some future potential in it. Years later inspiration finally hit, and Jamie transformed the rundown cabinet into a functional message center for her home that features a chalkboard door and key hook rack.

Driftwood Wall Organizers

Susan from Homeroad created her own wall organization system from weathered driftwood and old metal calendars. One calendar became a chalkboard and the other a chicken wire clipboard. I love the rustic look Susan achieved with her repurposed materials, and the wire hooks that link them together are too cute!

Wall Book Rack

After getting bunk beds for her boys’ room, Jen from Scissors and Spatulas wanted a wall-hanging book bin like those from Land of Nod for her little guy on the top. There was no way though she was paying $70 for “a few pieces of wood.”  Jen’s hubby grabbed some scrap wood and trim pieces from the garage and put a book rack together with just a few screws and nails.
Jen painted it blue, and it’s just like the real deal. The only difference… about $65!

The brown finish was hardly befitting the owner’s light and airy style, so I wanted to give it a more classic look. With some white paint and molding, you would never even guess it’s the same cabinet. You’ll have […Read More]

Wire Storage Shelf with Hook

Lisa from Serendipity Chic Design turned a $2.00 wire basket from Goodwill into her own hanging storage shelf. She simply gave the basket a coat of black spray paint and then got to work on creating the numbered hook. Amazingly, the number is just an image she printed from the internet and then decoupaged to […Read More]
