Like Kim of Simply Living, every DIYer loves a simple and cheap project, and these floating bookshelves are just that! Kim created each shelf using an L bracket and a secondhand book she didn’t mind drilling into. She says, “This is such a fun element, and the fact it was so easy and inexpensive makes it even better!”

Lindsay from That Village House found the perfect solution for that wall in her kitchen in Ballard’s café shelves and was inspired to build her own.
