It was the end to a great day when Doreen from Hymns and Verses scored a free tabletop on top of all her other junk store treasures. Doreen knew she wanted to make a large wall clock using the tabletop and pulled it off for only $15 with stunning results. She did a stellar job hand cutting out all the numerals and then tracing and painting them onto the clock face. Hands down, I’d pick Doreen’s  creamy white clock over Ballard’s $229 clock any day!

Pottery Barn Imitation Clock Face Art

Gina from The Shabby Creek Cottage shares at The Graphics Fairy – DIY how she created a decorative clock face using a round tabletop she found on the side of the road. For this project, Gina used a carbon paper method to transfer the number outlines and then simply painted them in. Of course, I love that this is a rescue! Isn’t it amazing how just some paint can turn an item destined for the landfill into a decorative piece for your home?
