Painted Wood Bird Décor

Cheryl from Snaps of Ginger was shopping when she came across two adorable unfinished wooden birdies. She hadn’t a clue what she was going to do with them until inspiration struck while perusing the internet. With a simple coat of blue acrylic paint, Cheryl completed this super easy project to get ready for spring. Are you longing for spring more than ever this year like I am???

Embellished Bud Vase

Lora from Craftivity Designs created this bud vase that’s perfect for displaying those beautiful spring blooms. Lora paired a thrifted flower pin with a thrifted vase for an all together thrifty version of Anthro’s pretty flower vases. Spring is all about new life, and this is a great way to repurpose an old piece of jewelry and give it a fresh start!

Vintage Easter Egg Prints

Emily from life{illustrated} is always looking for seasonal art inspiration, and the vintage egg prints from Ballard Designs caught her eye. For Emily, they were “just the right amount of ‘spring’ without looking too cheesy or juvenile.” So Emily headed to the Graphics Fairy and made her own art for FREE! It’s really as simple as printing it out and popping it in a frame!

Salt Dough Robin’s Eggs

While switching out her Valentine’s décor for spring, Emily from life{illustrated} decided she needed some eggs to complete her vignette. Right away. Out came the flour, salt, water, and food coloring, and Emily whipped up a batch a pretty blue robin’s eggs lickety split! Emily’s eggs look so much more natural to me than their rather plasticy counterpart.
