Pottery Barn’s ceramic skull vases have gotten a lot of love this Halloween! Not only are they sold out online, but a plethora of DIYers have replicated the look with various techniques and materials. Nikki from 13 Black Cats Designs molded a skull face from clay and then attached it onto a craft store vase. She finished it up with some spray paint and acrylic paint for a cool aged stone look.
The Halloween projects just keep a comin’! That gives you plenty of time to gather some bottles and turn them into skull vases following Angie’s tutorial at The Country Chic Cottage. Angie got her old milk bottles at the thrift store for a bargain. With some spray paint and foam skull cutouts, they will be a great addition to her Halloween mantel. She says, “I love how they are scary yet elegant enough to display in my home.”
