DIY Mercury Glass Lamp

If you love the silvery look of mercury glass, you will be relieved to know that you don’t have to pay big bucks for the real deal. Jennifer used this technique to turn a glass lamp from the thrift store into this beauty!

Rope Wrapped Lamp

It’s about that time of year again when rope décor can be seen all over home décor stores and throughout catalog pages. Elissa shares at Clever how to give a lamp that much-desired nautical flair with some rope and a hot glue gun. Jute and Metal Lamp Base

Gail from Purple Hues and Me came across a couple of hand woven wicker lamps that really inspired her to update the somewhat “dowdy” ones she’s owned for years. Instead of woven wicker, Gail wrapped her lamp in jute twine and added bands of jute braiding and galvanized tape as accents. Gail did an awesome job combining materials and textures to achieve the look of her inspiration!
