Heather from Thrifty Stories had been oogling Pottery Barn’s poinsettia pillow for over a year now and finally made her own with a zipper closure for easy storage.  This pillow is both elegant and fun with the jingle bell center. My kids would have a blast shaking this pretty pillow whenever they could get their little hands on it!

Pillows made from authentic feed sacks can cost a pretty penny, but Char from Crap I’ve Made shows it’s pretty simple to get the same look for less. Char created her pillow cover from drop cloth and then jollied it up with a stenciled Old Saint Nick. She scuffed up the image with sandpaper for a well-worn, vintage feel. No, it’s not made from a fifty-year-old grain sack, but, personally, I’d rather have a pillow customized with my choice of graphic, text, color, etc.!
