Thrift Store Geometric Coaster Transformation

For a grand total of $3, Sonnet of SohoSonnet was able to create her own set of colorful, geometric coasters. Sonnet started with a set of Christmas coasters she picked up at the thrift store for $2. She says they were just “screaming” for a makeover and that’s exactly what Sonnet gave them with wood grain paper and paint. It just goes to show that there’s a lot more than meets the eye on those thrift store shelves! With a little creativity, you can have Anthropologie-inspired coasters for a mere $3!

Painted Wood Patterned Coasters

Abby at Just a Girl and Her Blog recently came upon some colorful coasters at Anthropologie that she absolutely loved and immediately thought, “I can make those!” With some plywood, washi tape, and a little bit of paint, Abby easily created her own coasters that are really similar to the original– and they were free since she had the supplies on hand. I love when even a coaster can add some serious style to your space!
