Hanging Rope Mirrors

Kelly from The Lily Pad Cottage has been obsessed with the rope mirrors in the Pottery Barn catalog this summer. Also loving the idea of hanging framed photo displays from old boat ropes and dock cleats, Kelly combined the two looks to make her own nautical rope mirrors for her master bedroom.  It cost Kelly about $30 to make two mirrors, a great savings from Pottery Barn’s pricey counterparts!

Nautical Rope Mirror

Leah of Moss Eclectic had only one item on her must-have list for her son’s nursery – a rope mirror like the beauty she’d been admiring from Restoration Hardware. Since the $650 original would have totally blown the nursery budget out of the water, Leah instead turned the friendly-on-the-wallet IKEA for a round mirror. With some eye hooks and thick rope, Leah created this awesome replica!
