There is not much that makes a statement in a room like a large graphic print rug. While designing her son’s big boy room, Aggie from Wool and Flax knew she wanted to incorporate a black and white herringbone rug into the space. She also knew she didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Aggie happened to have an old rug in the closet and thought, “Why not make my own herringbone rug!” Out came the paint and tape, and Addie ended up spending only $5 for the fabric medium!

However, I was still blown away when I stumbled upon this “Aztec wonder” that Janel from Nellie Bellie created with a drop cloth and paint. Yep, that’s paint, Folks!
