Dollar Store Illuminated Twine Pumpkin

Grapevine pumpkins have become staples when it comes to fall décor. They are quite lovely with their natural look and pretty twinkling lights, but boy are they pricey!  Lisa from Recaptured Charm knew they couldn’t cost nearly as much to make as their price tags might indicate and proved it by creating her own with […Read More]

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Art

When Mandy from We Three Mothers wanted The Very Hungry Caterpillar artwork for her son’s bedroom but couldn’t afford the price tag, she teamed up with her son to DIY for less. They simply purchased a canvas and some tissue paper and then spent the morning cutting and gluing together. Kids are generally pretty oblivious to wall décor, but you know Mandy’s son will always love this special art he made with his mommy!

Embellished Bud Vase

Lora from Craftivity Designs created this bud vase that’s perfect for displaying those beautiful spring blooms. Lora paired a thrifted flower pin with a thrifted vase for an all together thrifty version of Anthro’s pretty flower vases. Spring is all about new life, and this is a great way to repurpose an old piece of jewelry and give it a fresh start!

Patterned Mercury Glass Vase

Now we’ve all seen this done a time or two, but I love how Jeanie took it a step further by creating a pattern on the glass with glue. You’ll have to pop over to her site to see exactly how she did it!
