As expressed in one of her favorite poems, dragonflies hold a special meaning to Gail from Purple Hues and Me. So she was delighted to hack a cute, glittery green caterpillar dragonfly that she saw at Pier 1. The Easter ornament was easily duplicated using basic craft items Gail had on hand. Don’t they look like little dragonfly twins {giggle}?

For Emily, they were “just the right amount of ‘spring’ without looking too cheesy or juvenile.” So Emily headed to the Graphics Fairy and made her own art for FREE! It’s really as simple as printing it out and popping it in a frame!

Out came the flour, salt, water, and food coloring, and Emily whipped up a batch a pretty blue robin’s eggs lickety split!
