Wooden Twine and Scissors Holder

When it comes to Pinterest, the pinning is the easy part. It’s making those pins actually come to fruition that presents the greater challenge. So you know Angie at Knick of Time was thrilled to mark this wooden twine holder as “pinned and done,” especially considering she pulled it off for less than a dollar using part of an old chair leg and a small wooden plaque she picked up from the craft store. This is such a darling storage idea that could also work great for ribbon, wasabi tape, and other crafting supplies.

If you have a little girl, you undoubtedly know about all the cute hair doodads that can be made from fabric yo-yos. However, their usefulness is not limited to hair accessories. Amanda from Be Sweet beautified a bulletin board by turning her leftover yo-yos into pushpins. These are so stinkin’ cute and a great way to add style to something as useful as a memo board.

Lisa from Diary of {Wannabe} Domestic Diva found a burlap memo board from Ballard that was perfect for displaying project ideas in her new craft space. Not surprisingly, the price was the only thing that wasn’t perfect about it, but Lisa found a way to get that sought after Ballard look with items she already had. Looks just like the inspiration to me!

Window Frame Corkboard

Morena of Morena’s Corner and contributor at Crafts Unleashed was looking for an attractive way to create a real pin board in her craft room. Pottery Barn had a beautiful chalkboard that she liked, so Morena borrowed the design as inspiration for her bulletin board. I love the window frame look and how each section could be designated to a specific purpose or member of the family for further organization.

In need of storage for her craft space, Jeanette from Homa Style created a revolving shelf that has room to spare. Jeanette added her own flair by gluing various styles of trim to the top and bottom. I love how accessible everything is with this design. Instead of searching around in a cabinet or drawer, just give it a spin and craft away!
