Ashley knew she’d want to build new pieces for the spaces and her first mission was getting everyone’s bed off the floor. For her oldest son, Ashley built a platform bed following plans from Ana White and added on locking casters for even more style. Want to build your own? Camille walks you through their entire build and even how she achieved that signature Restoration Hardware antiqued finish.

Of course, a DIY was in order! Not only did building her own bed save Bridgett a pretty penny ($150 versus $1,099), but it also allowed her the flexibility to modify the dimensions to fit her large mattress.
