Rustic X Dining Room Buffet

rustic-x-buffet.jpg

Korrie of the Red Hen Home modified plans from Ana White to build this stunning 72” open buffet for a client. I love how the 4×4 legs give this piece such a substantial look. This baby looks solid! Korrie also added decorative hardware which kicks up the rustic/industrial vibe a notch. What a beautiful build!

“Rustic Yet Refined” X Dining Room Table

diy dining room table

When the movers broke her dining room table, Jen from House of Wood’s first thought was to build a new one. She saw a gorgeous X-based table from ZGallerie and hit up her friend Ana White to draw up the plans. Then with a little more help from Ana and the friendly folks at Minwax, Jen gave her freshly built table a “rustic yet refined” Restoration Hardware-inspired finish. Are you drooling yet? Oh, and I think I forgot to mention the lumber was only $85. Just in case you weren’t already sold {Wink}.

I had so much fun seeing the Shanty Sisters last week at Haven, and, let me tell you, these girls have it all! They are as sweet as can be, fun, gorgeous, and crazy talented. Just check out this dresser that Ashley from Shanty 2 Chic built for her BFF’s baby nursery following plans from Ana White. This is a dresser that will definitely grow with the little fellow until he’s a teenager. He could even tote it off to college with him, and it would still be cool!
