Terra from Mama Says Sew gave a garage sale lamp shade a whole new look with a thrift store sheet. Terra sized the sheet to wrap loosely around the shade and then tore the remaining sheet into long strips of fabric. From the sheets, she created little circles that mimic the look of flowers and hot glued them to the lamp-sized sheet. Although Terra warns this is a time consuming project, it saves a lot of green. Plus, it’s just really pretty. Isn’t that enough?
Terra was inspired by the Ranunculus Swirl Shade from Anthropologie.
