Small Stackable Wooden Crates

Jen from Pink When loved the look of a little bit of wooden décor in her kitchen, but also needed the functionality of a stackable crate.

When she found a group of crates online she decided to make her own in a similar style.

All you need is a bit of thin poplar from the hardware store and a nail gun!

Since poplar is a naturally very light colored wood, Jen used a bit of walnut stain to wake the color up a bit.

These crates look adorable on Jen’s counter – and have even been repurposed into a doll bed!
