As Martha did, you must decide if some parts of the table will be excluded from painting.
In her example, the top of the table was too pretty to paint so she left that alone and the top drawer.
Using Annie Sloan chalk paint Martha painted the desk in green and used white for the accent and bottom drawer.
Your colors for your decor may vary, but the overall idea is to make the piece special.
The tones are rustic and these colors would work well in a modern farmhouse style, shabby chic, or rustic decor.
