Gail from Can’t Stop Making Things shares an awesome method for transferring images to a candle. Following her inspiration, Gail printed out sheet music on tissue paper. She then wrapped the candle with the tissue, using glue to secure the ends, and heated the candle surface with a heat gun to adhere the tissue. Following these steps, you could have a blast creating all kinds of custom candles for the cost of a cheap candle and some tissue paper!
Gail was inspired by the Music Pillar Candle from Pottery Barn.

Try wrapping wax paper around the tissue, heat with a hair dryer, then remove the wax paper leaving a wax coating over the tissue. Works great on stamped tissue as well! These candles with the music notes turned out so pretty!

I did something similar once and ended up with the paper on fire - yikes! I probably should have used wider candles, huh? :) These are beautiful.

Did you load tissue paper in your printer??? Did you just cut it to letter size and print away? Forgive the primitive blogspot. I'm just learning. :}

I really like this idea. Can the candles be lit? Or are they just for show?
