Ruffled Linen Hand Towels

After a quick trip to Joann’s for a yard of linen, Debbie from Confessions of a Plate Addict set out to create her own linen hand towels. She simply cut two square pieces from the linen, hemmed three of the sides, and then edged the fourth side with a gathered length of remnant linen. I love the crisp look of the linen and the softness added by the ruffle and frayed edge. In addition to making chic hand towels for a kitchen or bathroom, Debbie suggests using them as napkins for the dining room table.

Debbie was inspired by the Natural Linen Hand Towels from Wisteria.
