Reupholstered Cane Chair

Don’t walk away from a thrift store chair just because the upholstery or paint is dated or dreary- a fresh coat of paint and a new seat cover may be all the chair needs to happily grace your home. Make sure whatever chair you pick up still has good “bones” and isn’t going to fall apart at the seams. It is much more difficult to rebuild a chair than to reupholster one! Jenna from Rain on a Tin Roof found a cool cane chair and even cooler geometric fabric and decided that they would be a perfect pair. With a fresh coat of gold paint and some rope trim, the new chair is even more beautiful than it was in its first life.
