Molly from Me and Madeline saw a pallet wood bookshelf DIY on Pinterest and knew she had to recreate it! Most pallet wood is weathered, warn, and filthy, but Molly’s pallet happened to be brand new. Since she was hoping to have a more unique look to her bookshelf, she used some stain and a hammer to give it a weathered appearance. For this project, you don’t need to pull the individual boards from the pallet itself, you simply need to cut the pallet into thirds and add new boards to the bottom to create a shelf.
The shelves turned out great and they are super easy for kids to put their books in, and very strong!
