Paulette from 3sisters created her own picturesque poppy field painting on a used canvas she bought at the thrift store for a dollar. I am simply blown away by Paulette’s ability to recreate this painting. She even added some personal touches to make it her own, such as the blue sky and cottage-style home in the distance. The little house really makes it for me, as it offers such a feeling of comfort and tranquility to see it nestled in solitude among God’s gorgeous creation.
Paulette was inspired by the Paysage De Coquelicots Triptych Giclée from Ballard Designs.

Recently we went to my daughters open house. The booster club had a painting up for a silent auction. The kindergarten teacher had painted a canvas with grass, tree stumps and branches and then the kindergartners had “painted” in pink blossoms everywhere. She used their thumbprints for the blossoms. It reminds me of the painting above, but with cherry trees.
