Whitney from Shanty 2 Chic is finishing off decorating het little girl’s bedroom, and wanted to fill some wall space above her daughter’s desk. Rather than simply hanging photos, Whitney wanted to give her daughter a place to store some of her desk essentials as well as the fun and cute nicknacks that kids always pick up.
In an effort to keep the room looking elegant and classy, Whitney wanted something more than just basic shelving, so she opted to create some gorgeous shadowbox type shelves made from inexpensive picture frames.
She simply made a few boxes from scrap board and attached them to the back of the picture frames with nail glue and then spray painted them white!
