Pet-Food-Storage-Container-pin

Tidy Mom Cheryl shares a cute idea for storing your pets’ food in style using an old popcorn tin from Christmas.

Cheryl painted over Santa with a bright yellow spray paint and then decorated the exterior with vinyl cut by her Silhouette and some ribbon.

Here’s what Cheryl has to say: “I LOVE the way my designer pet food canister turned out!………and Ballard Designs doesn’t offer yellow!”

Ballard Knock Off Dog Food Canister ~ Repurpose a popcorn tin into a storage container for your pets' food!

Cheryl’s tin is similar to the Pet Food Canisters from Ballard Designs.

I really, really love this idea. You could do it for canisters too. It's a pretty and inexpensive way to decorate your space. The space you are in is so very important to your psyche.

I don't have a silhouette cutter, either. Wouldn't a stencil and white paint work as well?

This is great, but I don't have a silhouette cutter, nor do i want to invest in one. Any ideas on how to do the graphics in another way?

If you want to use paint, you could trace and then paint it in or use a stencil. You could also buy pre-cut letters and designs.
