Karen from The Art of Doing Stuff wanted the inspiring Restoration Hardware Aspen Collection outdoor furniture, but needed to save her money for a new Tiara.
A Restoration Hardware Aspen Collection came at a steep price at $20,000. Karen calculated that to do this herself, it would be only about $1500, and most of that cost would be tied up in the cushions. With some changes to the boards, she constructed the set achieving a very similar look.
Happily Karen had money left over for the Tiara she wanted and is happy with the collection. Her instructions include a video to help you with the basic construction techniques. This rustic set of furniture will surely provide a comfortable setting for entertaining this summer.
