You never know what you will find when you are in a goodwill or vintage store. Sometimes we walk right past a piece of furniture that needs some TLC to bring it back to life. Thankfully Sarah from Sarah M. Dorsey Designs was able to salvage this wonderful mid-century modern vanity.
After bringing it home she realized that the veneer could not be saved and decided to paint the top and stain the wood on the front. The best part of this upgrade was adding legs to the vanity. It makes it fully functional once again and adds eye appeal. They show through pictures the process of cutting the angles in the legs, but you will have to do some figuring if you decide to make this on your own.
If you really do not have the tools you can always seek out the help of a professional for the leg construction portion. Next time you are out and looking around, be sure to look carefully, you don’t want to miss your next treasure.
