Carmel from Our Fifth House loved the look of a natural headboard but, of course, not the price. A girl with a plan, Carmel grabbed an old door from the garage, some manila rope, and her trusty hot glue gun to tackle her own. After cutting the door to size for a king bed, she got to gluing until the old, dusty door was covered with the rope. This headboard is a lovely addition to Carmel’s guest room which is well on its way to becoming a “room.”
