Julie from Less-Than-Perfect Life of Bliss created a new stylin’ lamp for her daughter’s bedroom from an old lamp she had originally purchased from the thrift store. Julie painted the cherub base a bright yellow and then dressed up a plain white shade with strips of ruffled fabric. This is such a simple way to really glam up an old or ordinary shade. I sure do love me some ruffles!
Julie was inspired by the Tuxedo Ruffle Shade from Pottery Barn Teen.
