Ashley, from 7th House on the Left, got to work making this Pottery Barn Inspired Pin board to cover up a bare spot on her wall.
After seeing the Pottery Barn price, over a $150, she knew she had the tools and knowledge to replicate the pin board.
A 48″ x36″ bulletin board ordered from Amazon would provide Ashley with enough space to pin inspirational items throughout the day.
After securing some batting, linen look home dec fabric and nail heads, Ashley and her husband put together the front of the inspiration board.
She states that it should only take a couple of hours to make this, as the nail heads take up the most time. To secure the back they used duck tape to hold the batting and linen in place.
This great and simple project from Ashley takes the place of cluttering up a large wall space with lots of pictures.
The design is stylish and sleek and provides a place to gather inspiration throughout the day.
A cost of nearly $95 less than the Pottery Barn version certainly made good sense to do this project herself. Great Job Ashley, this is a wonderful display item for any room in the home.
