Nicole of Nicole Scott Designs recently DIYed a rug to resemble the beautiful Moroccan Beni Ourain rugs that have been wildly popular in the design world. You may be thinking this is another painted rug tutorial, but Nicole came up with a creative way to form the diamond design on a shaggy rug using embroidery thread. The thread blends beautifully into the rug to create a subtle graphic pattern.
