While we are only a couple weeks into 2012, I have already shared a couple of projects over at Infarrantly Creative that I am super excited about. One was a project I’ve been wanting to try my hand at for awhile, creating an upholstered headboard for my guest bedroom. I got just the color and pattern I wanted by stenciling my own fabric. Can you believe the whole shebang cost just under $77? My new headboard is just one more reason the guest bedroom is quickly becoming my favorite in the house!
My original inspiration came from the Camden Untufted Headboard from Ballard Designs.

This looks gorgeous – and honestly, I like yours better than the “original”! In fact, when I first saw the pic of yours, I was like, “Is this the original or the knock-off?” Great work!
I also like your version better. Very, very cool! Can you give more details on stenciling the fabric?
I looove that
