IKEA Hack Storage System

Tamara of Provident Home Design has had a long time love affair with the gorgeous storage systems at Pottery Barn and Ballard Designs. Be it for the entryway, playroom, craft studio… Tamara says she’s yet to meet one of their lovely storage systems she didn’t love – or that she could afford. That’s where Tamara decided to get crafty with a couple of cheap bookshelves from IKEA and turn them into a storage system for her basement playroom. The grand total came in at $40 a shelf, which is a far cry from $399 for one cabinet from Ballard!

Ikea Hack Entryway Storage

One of Tamara’s inspiration pieces is the Beadboard Entryway Cabinet from Ballard Designs.
