Thrift Store Tripod Floor Lamp

Karen from Dogs Don’t Eat Pizza has long loved tripod lamps, but they are usually pretty pricey.

The one she had been admiring at Pottery Barn was a whopping $469! Yikes!

Karen hit the jackpot when she a wooden surveyors’ tripod at my favorite thrift store for $4 and immediately knew she could turn it into a lamp.

With a lamp kit bought at a hardware store and a linen drum shade, Karen made her own tripod floor lamp for about $20!

DIY Tripod Lamp | This gorgeous tripod lamp was made using a $4 surveyor's tripod from the thrift store. That's way cheaper than Pottery Barn's $469 price tag!

Karen was inspired by the Gibson Tripod Floor Lamp from Pottery Barn.
