Scott from Saws on Skates shares how you can turn wood scraps into stocking holders for your mantel – in West Elm style! Scott’s inspiration was made from metal, but he was able to get a similar look with metallic paint. Scott’s building plans include the designs for all four pieces in his collection, a cottage, saltbox, manor, and church. Scott says, “These are really quick to put together, and like I said, the best part is they were made entirely with scraps I found in my workshop! I love FREE!”
Scott was inspired by the Metal House Stocking Holder from West Elm.

OMG!! Great idea. I was looking for something like this since all the stocking holders I've found are so expensive! http://www.lovesthefind.com/
