When designing the office/homework space in her home, Andrea of Life Love Larson turned to DIY for several of the projects.
She decided to use the window treatments she already had, which happened to be plain white Roman shades from JCPenney, and add a little something to make them pop.
Andrea found an inspiration picture from Pottery Barn and trimmed out the shades with black grosgrain ribbon.
While Pottery Barn’s shades cost $229 for one shade, Andrea was able to make hers for only $32 a piece, and that includes the shade!
Andrea was inspired by the Grosgrain Ribbon Roman Shade from Pottery Barn.
