Katie from Addicted 2 DIY couldn’t help but notice the adorable quotation mark bookends on the cover of the latest HGTV magazine. She says, “I thought they were such a great idea to add interest to a bookcase, so I decided that I needed to make a set of my own. The Anthropologie version commands a whopping $168, but I was able to make mine for virtually nothing.” If you have some scrap wood lying around, you can too! Katie gave hers a rusted metal look since the shiny gold finish of her inspiration wouldn’t really go with her décor. It’s amazing how much the wood really does look like rusted metal!
