PAINTED Books for a Streamlined Look

One thing that has always driven Lauren from Bless’er House crazy about the bookshelves in her home office is that the books look like a jumbled mess.

She found a rather unconventional way to make them look more streamlined and “fancy schmancy” – paint!

Yep, Lauren painted all of her books with chalk paint and then created labels for the spines. What do you think… would you paint your books in the name of uniformity and style?

We own a lot of books, so I thought this idea was clever because it streamlined the look. It might look good on books in a guest room for example. Thanks for sharing.
